Hacked? is the latest app for Windows 10 PCs and Mobile devices that allows you to verify if any of your online records have been linked to an information breach. It uses the Have I been pwned? API to access info on breaches that your e-mail address is related to.
When you initially start the application, it tells you how your e-mail address is used when you enter it, stating that it’s exclusively passed to the Have I been pwned? service and not delivered any place else. After your account is added, it’ll provide you with a report on any breaches containing any e-mail addresses linked to the app.
One of the main features of the “Hacked?” application is it supports background monitoring. This enables it to automatically look for new breaches every 12 hours and notifies you if you’re connected. Therefore you won’t need to manually check every time a new leak of data is documented, as you’ll be notified automatically.
The app is available for both Windows PC and mobile devices, you can download the app here.
