Vice Motherboard reports that data taken from an approximated 360 million MySpace accounts is supposedly for sale on hacking forums. Based on the most frequently used passwords contained in the list is most likely old.
The user “Peace” was selling the credentials, and this is the same user who just recently sold data on 165 million Linkedin accounts just last week.
As always, if you think you used the same password for MySpace on other websites, change them immediately.
Leakedsource.com has obtained the accoutns being sold and add it to their repository of leaked data, to find out if your email has been impacted, you can search Leaksource’s repoistory, here.
