Hello.
This is Cameron from Telecomix.

Recently we have noticed that the regime of Cuba has a policy of very selective access to the internet and further regulates what can be accessed. Internet connections are also very slow and prohibitively expensive. So only rich, or pro-regime supporters are the really have a chance to publish things or access the internet, no chance for criticism, no chance for the freedom of speech.
Therefor we started the Operation Cuba. We provide phone numbers that receive sms and upload it to http://cuba.telecomix.org/ so anyone in the world can read the news from the isle.

You can get in touch with us via:
• WebChat: https://chat.werebuild.eu/?channels=opcuba
• IRC: irc.telecomix.org/#opcuba
• Mail: [email protected]

We are from the internet – we come in peace – let there be freedom for all people and computers
