Two bills have been proposed in congress, the Protect IP Act (PIPA) and the  Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA).  This would censor the Internet and and give the government power that, frankly, they shouldn’t have. They also could potential put a kill switch on the Internet, and censor any sites they feel.
They will take action and ask questions later, I believe this goes against our first amendment, which protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference.
