Arizona DHS Security Site breached and defaced

A Turkish hacker using the handle of Swan had compromised and defaced the official website of Arizona Department of Homeland Security as well as its server on 26th May, 2014. The individual also defaced the official website of Arizona Commission of Indiana Affairs website.

The deface page contained a simple anti-violence message for the state of Arizona Department of Homeland Security.  The message stated: “Hacked By Swan ( Stop Violence in Middle East !.. )”

This hack displays how even U.S. defense machines are vulnerable and subject to hackers.

It’s time for NSA to provide some security instruction for it’s own security organizations as opposed to poking their noses in everyone’s privacy. At the time of publishing this post, all websites were restored and are online.
